Just over 4 great months in Le Bar sur Loup as grateful guests of Milly, Art, Sophia and Lucy. Marvellous times out drawing, walking and exploring. Many nice discoveries and meals with our lovely hosts. A great way to spend a winter. Hope to repeat it !!

This was a very pleasant experience and certainly a unique opportunity to explore this region. The hosts (Art & Milly) are extremely friendly and have people’s caring skills. The accommodations are very comfortable. The lovely perched village of Le Bar sur Loup is within driving distance from major attractions and popular resorts. We absolutely recommend staying here and would love to come back again.

The apartment is absolutely ‘palatial’ and so well appointed – it has served our needs perfectly. It was so clean, light, airy and tastefully decorated. If either of you ever decide on a ‘NZ swop’ for a period one day you have our email address ! We think you have the perfect life, perfect spot – enjoy it ! What a gift to your whanau (family).

Merci pour votre accueil. Votre village est superbe tout comme votre région et ses diverses paysages (mer, montagne …). On a pu apprécier du festival du Citron à Menton, du Carnaval de Nice et son Parc Phoenix. Les filles se sont bien amusées avec les jouets de l’appartement. Bref de bons souvenirs même la montée sur Gourdon en courant. Alors félicitations et bonne route à votre famille sympathique et attachante. A bientôt.

A very good location to explore the whole Côte d’Azur from Cannes to Monte Carlo – we saw a lot in 3 days ! Sunshine the whole 3 days, no cloud at all. I can recommend a winter holiday here. Not much traffic, warm enough to be out all day, markets are full of locals.

Spent a fabulous week – perfect weather and all the places we’ve visited were more or less had for ourselves. Apartment great – lovely balcony – everything we needed. Having already stayed in the Top apartment, we shall be back to try out the third !!! Thanks – will be back !!!

10 days of heaven. Friendly (but discreet !) hosts, beautiful accommodation, scenery to die for … and 25° C ! Who could ask for more when it’s snowing at home ? The selection of books, toys + DVDs were great for adults + kids alike, and the poolside wonderful (if a bit chilly in the water). Thank you !

We might as well get the complaint out of the way first. We really wish, Art and Milly, that you would have informed us before hand that just a one week stay in your lovely place would not be enough ! What a wonderful time we have experienced here, especially due to you hospitality and thoughtfulness in the apartment set up. Be prepared more Americans may be on the way ! Especially if I tell about your excellent orange wine. First place in our vote. As Bob Hope said: “Thanks for the memories” Merci Beaucoup !

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The Studio is so pretty with the most amazing views ! The most relaxing holiday we’ve had in a while, would recommend ‘La Bastide Saint Christophe’ to anyone. We’ll be back!
